About Phoenix Therapy Ayrshire:
My name is Tracey and I am a psychotherapist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT), with a special interest in Childhood Trauma and Attachment issues.
I recognise how difficult life can be at times and how we often minimise our concerns/worries as "not important enough". However, if these are affecting your daily life in any way then they are important enough to bring to therapy.
Although my main modality is CBT, I will often incorporate a Humanistic/Integrative approach in order to provide my clients with a completely individual, holistic and bespoke treatment plan specific to their own personal needs and goals. I am extremely passionate about every one of us embracing our own uniqueness and my aim is to help my clients develop effective coping strategies to create a more positive outlook in life and reach greater levels of well-being. I provide tailored support to help clients in their journey of personal growth and development and am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental environment to enable them to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences, and to work towards a better understanding of themselves, and the situation they find themselves in.

Testimonial:
I have been a client of Tracey’s for a while now and have made huge progress since our very first appointment. Her genuine kindness and non-judgemental attitude have quickly created a sense of safety and trust in our sessions. Through a variety of approaches she has taught me ways to both manage difficult emotions and challenge my thought patterns. These techniques have enabled me to tackle difficult situations in my everyday life as well as provided a “safe base” whilst exploring sensitive topics during our sessions. I really appreciate Tracey’s transparency and the flexibility of her approach. Whether I need a space to explore my feelings, support to figure out more pragmatic matters or impartial advice when facing difficult decisions, I know I can always count on our weekly session.

I wanted to thank you for all your help and support. I just wanted to say that you have always said the right things and made me feel better. You have given me really good advice and tools to practice on (and continue to work and use) and helped me through some challenging times.
I thank you so much.
Best Wishes

I was the world’s biggest cynic about therapy until the day came when I needed it. What I received was plain-speaking, no nonsense, down to earth help. That did ‘exactly what it said on the tin’ to restore my inner karma and see the trials of life through a different pair of spectacles. For which I will be forever indebted.

‘’I just wanted to say a big thank you to you for all your help over the last couple of months. Talking to you has really made a big difference.
The sessions have been so helpful and right from the start your warmth, empathy and intuitiveness made it so easy to talk and share with you.
I felt there was always a perfect balance of listening and advice and you’ve given me tangible things to help, and used analogies which will stay with me as I continue to work through things.
I’m so grateful for your time and understanding during these challenging times in my life’’.
Thank you

Tracy has provided me a virtual safe space whereby I managed to freely express my worries, fears, and insecurities which I have hindered within myself for three years. Her genuine care, deep understanding, empathy and non-judgemental approach has facilitated my ability to explore my own worries and doubts. I am grateful for all her help, but I feel particularly grateful that Tracy demonstrated a genuine interest in my university course and divided each obstacle to different parts until we reached a solution to make it all manageable and doable with realistic aims. Thank you very much, dear Tracy, for illuminating my clouds of worries with your bright sunshine 🤍
